This memory foam underlay is designed to provide “bottoming out” protection for alternationg pressure overlays, while still minimising the height of the overall support system on the bed.
Constructed from medium density longwearing foam, the underlay fits underneath an alternating pressure mattress system for added protection and support in the event of a system failure. The underlay is also pre treated for protection againts dust mites, mould, midew and bacteria, then covered with a cotton liner for added protection.
The polyurethane cover features two-way stretch material for anti-shear and anti-friction benefits.
All seams are stitched for strength, then welded for maximum infection control. Al exposed stitching is further tape sealed for added protection.
The cover includes an identification panel for recording patient details.
